@Ogabeg If you do a credit memo, that is just crediting their AR balance, and it isn't recognizing you accepting money back. Creating the credit memo will just put that on their AR account balance with you. If you go to "Accept Customer Payments" or just run an open AR report for that customer, you should see that credit memo you created out there for them. This is because it gives you the option to either apply it to the balance of future invoices for them, or for you to actually send a refund check (or refund by whatever payment method you originally dealt with). If you want it to affect your cash account, then you will have to actually do the steps in the system to refund the money back to them (as mentioned, by cutting a refund check to them, or refunding by your original payment method). Click on "Refund" at the top of your credit memo record to do that part. After you complete the Customer Refund step, you will see it affect your cash account.
