hello al. is there a way to import the lockbox bai2 file to netsuite without using celigo
e
You can import BAI2 files with the Financial Institutions module.
I believe you might need the “Bank Statement Parsers” SuiteApp as well.
p
We use the financial instiutions suiteapp for this purpose and it works well!
e
Agreed. I was concerned about reliability at first, but it rarely fails.
l
@suitecore I'm just curious what that file is for. Would that allow automatic or semi-automatic creation of customer payments?
s
It's for automatic payments. But lockbox bai2 is not supported for now
l
Noted. Thank you
s
@eblackey @Phillip it will apply only for typical bai2 files
Not for lockbox bai2 files
Both are different
p
I am pretty sure netsuite has new functionality that can create customer payments from the bank rec bai2 files and match them to the invoice
s
Not all bai2 formats are supported
Lockbox bai2 is not supported
p
what is the transaction code in the bai2 files for lockbox?
s
It starts with 400 and 600
p
and how do you currently reconcile the customer payments versus the bank rec transactions
s
Create payment manually
p
got it. this is the functionality we are looking at: https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/101026
we are trying to generate the customer payments from the bank rec which netsuite now supports
s
This is after importing the bai2 file
which is not possible for bai2 lockbox
