Hello all, I am wondering what you all use for an EDI solution with NetSuite and how you feel about it. I'm getting the feeling that SPS is a bit too much for our order volume and count of current trading partners.
z
we use SPS for our dropship customers and it's been easy to add trading partners and integrate documents. biggest issue is that occasionally documents lag and the warehouse can't ship orders same-day.

We are in the process of transitioning from SAP to NS. We are using DI Central because that is what we are already using. However, we did have a meeting with SPS and I came away from there wishing we had made the decision to go with SPS. Although similar to DiCentral’s Managed Services solution, SPS’s solution appears to be more robust. SPS’s architecture seems to simplify integration with NS as well. DiCentral embraces a “point-to-point” approach where SPS utilizes a two-step mapping path for integration (similar to IDocs in SAP).

We are going live with TrueCommerce on NS. A
Our experience is not going well. What size business or transactions do you have daily?
t
We (buyer, more or less) are looking to integrate with our manufacturing partner (supplier) to transmit sales orders and receive ASNs. Volume is fairly low, I am looking at about 100 transactions over the last year.
So with the low volume and 1 trading partner, I feel that the high end EDI tools available are probably overkill.
n
Absolutely. I think you would do well with TrueCommerce. It is user friendly for companies new to EDI. Does your supplier currently have a solution in place?
t
@Nicki Myers yes they are using WebMethods
Could we just interface directly to WebMethods? We have celigo, so I wonder if that could/should be part of the solution as well
n
I would say you can count on Celigo being a part of the solution. I'm not familiar with WebMethods
