@Jer-el Martinez - 99% sure you can't do any sort of record join like that in PDF templates. Workarounds are either beforeLoad user event scripts which expose the field you want on the cash sale form or create a custom transaction body field like custbody_so_create_date that applies to sales, and default/source it from created date, then add the field to your cash sale form and it will 'inherit' from the sales order. You'd end up using something record.custbody_so_create_date in the template
