Loaning, like letting them use a piece of equipment temporarily?

Exactly, usually I'm creating a virtual loan location that use bins. The bins are used to know for which client I sent each products.

I've seen this done with custom records, and I've seen it done with inventory items and bins or locations. Lot of ways to do that one.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As far as I know custom record doesn't hold items line unless you are using sublist saved search. Actually I think it better to handle it with a designated location because the products are actually in your ownership.
