Stick Notes are really meant for opening something like a transaction and seeing the note...and also being able to see all notes that were directed towards you on your dashboard.

Thanks for the info, we’ll probably just stick to user notes. Problem with user notes is they don’t copy over from sales orders to invoices.

@suitemike you can create a custom field on invoice and source the input from Sales order memo or user notes field. Unfortunately sticky notes function exactly as they would on a printout of the transaction. So if attached to SO, it won't copy over to IF or Invoice
