Is there a method/preference to have the 'Receive' checkbox not checked by default on item receipts?

Not sure, could be part of the advanced receiving, I look it up when I get infront of a computer.

I know I've seen it before, just can't find it 😕

As @KevinJ of Kansas said it should be under setup>accounting>accounting preferences or in the enable features section.
