I'd like to know if I can limit folder access in File cabinet by user roles. ie, Administrators and some of employees who has custom field checked on. I can see restrict by class, department, subsidiary, or group but not user roles

You can set up a dynamic employee group based on a saved search. This group can then be assigned to access the folder. In my experience, the update of the group is rather delayed. I don't recall if it only updated once a day or something.
