Well - there's certainly a lot of effort that goes into setting it up. I wouldn't turn it on just to try it - it will cause significant impact to your account in that respect. I don't know about turning it on and then turning it back off.

My understanding is that they are cheaper now than they used to be. Probably worth getting one and figuring out your conversion process in detail.
