Why do we have this only on assembly items not inventory items? I know Netsuite recalculates in the background for inventory items too, but it would be nice to see the status

You can customize the inventory form to expose the same field.

No you can't edit the location sublist on item records. Of course I could do a saved search and add it to another sublist, but would rather not.
