when you generate the FA depreciation report (to review) - if you put the start date as January as a parameter for the report, does it show a depreciation value for january - June for those assets?
d
I think so if you depreciated them first?
c
could you screenshot the FAM asset page with the General tab selected - just blank out the name of the asset/subsidiary and the values if you're concerned about DP

nothing jumps out on the FAM page that would be stopping it (presuming dept/class are both not mandatory, your depn rule is set up correctly) - how do you have a prior year NBV if your last depreciation period is 0 (never run)?
also check that these settings are enabled:

Very good suggestion, I hadn'#t thought of that. Thanks
Ah yeah, they were enabled 😕
c
are these freshly imported assets as well?
try running this report and check the assets to see if there's a january value

Hey thanks, here's what I got...
The plot thinkens 🙂
I guess there's something missing on the Asset type
c
this must be a new implementation right? pretty easy - go to FAM Asset Type list e.g computer equipment and hit edit. Then go to the accounts tab and select the accounts they need to go to

Thanks! Yeah, however that side of things is TBD. And not by me 😞
Otherwise I'd convert the Bonus account to a fixed asset and set all the depreciation of laptops against that.
Cars too, for added giggles.
