Hah. I had a client with a customization we worked on VERY hard to get auto assignment of lot numbers to orders based on expiration dates who got sold (side note - much harder than it sounds when you add bins and units of measure). I have the code still and a partial bundle in one of my demo accounts, but that's all I've got left of it. It does make me sad that volume of effort is no longer in use.
