Is anyone aware of any change that updates the shipping cost on a sales order when this is approved?? We have a process where we set it to zero, but recently it's been reverting to the original cost.

I've seen this happening in relation to the shipping address changing, does that happen you have approve orders?
f
yes, exactly. is there any option you know to turn it off?
j
The only workaround I'm aware of is editing the record after it's been saved and changing the tax back unfortunately. It's a change netsuite have put in lately and it's been frustrating to deal with.
seems like changing the address causes the tax nexus to recalculate but it must happen after the order is saved.

at least now we know what is causing it. I'll try the same approach. Thank you very much

No problem, if you come across another way to resolve I'd be interested!

FYI one of the devs found this: .just got an update that actually my defect is expected behavior, due to another defect 511881 which was fixed on june 12th. They said "If you do not want to change the shipping cost, kindly update "shippingcostoverridden" flag to "T".
looks like when the user calculates the shipping cost manually, this is supposed to be set, but it's not happening sometimes (?)
