Upgrade Notice: Fixed Assets Management Version 23.1	
 	 
We are sending you this notice to inform you about the release preview availability of NetSuite Fixed Assets Management version 23.1, the target date of the upgrade to your production account, and the enhancements that will be included in the new version of the SuiteApp.
Early Access Availability in Release Preview Account
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of your Release Preview access period to prepare for the latest version of the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp.
To see the schedule of your Release Preview access and 2023.1 upgrade, you can check the email notifications sent to your account's primary contact and product update contacts. This information is also available in your New Release portlet. You must manually update the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp to test the new version in Release Preview.
1.	Log in to your NetSuite account, and select the Release Preview role.
2.	Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List.
3.	Locate the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp with bundle ID 439833, and select the Update action next to it. When the update is complete, the new bundle ID will be 464363.
Fixed Assets Management version 23.1 will also be available for testing in your Sandbox accounts running on NetSuite 2023.1.
Target Release Dates
•	Availability in Sandbox accounts running on NetSuite 2022.1 – January 17, 2023
•	Feature availability in Release Preview – First day of Release Preview start date
•	Upgrade to your Production account – Within a month after your account has been upgraded to NetSuite 2023.1
Updates to the Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp version 23.1
Quarterly and Semiannually Rental Frequency Options for Lease
The Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp introduces two additional rental frequency options for lease – Quarterly and Semiannually. On the Lease record page, you can select these options from the Rental Frequency list. You can also choose to automatically generate lease payments as well as calculate the net present value and interest for the new rental frequencies.
Modifying lease records with a quarterly or semiannually rental frequency is currently not possible in Fixed Assets Management version 23.1.
Enhanced Asset Split
The Asset Split feature in the Fixed Assets Management now enables you to split assets into multiple asset records at once. On the Asset Split Details subtab, you can specify the quantity of assets for each record that will be generated after the split. To ensure optimum performance, the split sublist can contain a maximum of 120 rows. Values for generated assets are calculated based on the split quantity, but you can also change these values.
To track assets that were generated from a split transaction, the system creates a User Note in the generated asset records. The note contains information about the source asset ID and the FAM process record ID.
