We need to change Subsidiary for few employees, but since they already have transactions liked to them, Netsuite does not allow us to assign a different subsidiary.
• Do I have to create a new Employee record and access for those users?
• What about all reporting and open transactions?
• Have any of you come across this issue before?
Thank you in advance.

Yes we come across this all the time. We always have to create a new employee record in the correct subsidiary

Yep
That's what I was worry about.
The users have a lot of existing transactions linked to their Internal ID.
I wish they could still see them if we use the same email address.

You could make their new record a supervisor of their old record. Then they could see transactions for their “team”

That's a very good advice.
I guess I will have to use a different email address for their old record.
This is going to be painful since they will lose all their favorite shortcuts and other stuff on their dashboard.

NS announced during the last suiteworld that multi entity employee type is coming. In the past both customer and vendor records weren't multi entity - now they are. Would love to get this feature going, it's always been a difficult one for employee transfer and other related cross sub tranasctions.
