Morning everyone, very cool. Didn't know this existed. Anyways - I'm looking for a way to create a saved search that allows inline editing to quickly edit the vendor confirmations dates across many PO's and PO lines. Anyone find a way to get this to work?

Morning! You can do that with the PO header fields, but you cannot inline edit line-item data. Your saved search must be a main line search to inline edit.

We use CSV import to do that so users export the search, make their changes, and import the CSV, but shornstein mentioned recently he built something to allow inline editing on searches. I plan on looking into that in that next week to see if we can make it work.

Thank you Brian for the quick response. That's the answer I was looking for...although disappointing that you have to go into edit mode in each and every PO to update many different dates.

@RyanDinRI - You could add a custom date fields that you can inline edit and then have a workflow use that to push to the native dates. It's a bit of a hack, but you can get your desired result.
