What is the permission for audit trail? I would like to remove access from certain roles from being able to view audit trails
j
What kind of audit trail (system notes?)? It was suggested to us to hide the system notes sublist and add targeted queries of that data by role or topically.
This was in response to us being concerned that system notes leaks 'privileged' data that is hidden on our typical forms.
k
System notes, all transaction trails for all roles and individuals can now be seen
It's quite strange. Even very basic users can see this info
For example, a clerk can see an admin's audit trail. All the documents that were created, edited, deleted
How do you hide the system notes sublist?
j
Well, I never did work out the details of the things I said above. But I believe that the way to hide it is in Customize > Customize Form > Sublists > System Information -- uncheck system notes.
Does that work for you?
k
Those system notes are equally as confidential. But the audit trail is different. The issue that i'm facing is that a clerk is able to view what an admin is doing in real time, with time stamps at any time they want
Imagine the system notes, but a summary of it for every individual
p
Audit trail must be a role permission. In my instance only the Admin role can get at it.

@Peter Cler there's no audit trail role permission unfortunately... or it must be hidden... is it a trail role for you?
