I'm having a deployment issue w/ a custom "other sublist field" for BOM Revision Components. I have the Advanced BOM feature enabled (which is required for BOM Revision records) and I keep getting an invalid reference key -424 (the native NetSuite BOM Revision Record ID) for the parent when SDF is trying to create the custom field. I can go into the UI and create a BOM Revision Component field just fine though. Not sure what the hangup can be here. Any ideas? This does deploy successfully to other accounts though so its gotta be setup but not sure what else it could be besides Advanced BOM feature to enable the BOM Revisions.

Eeesh. That's a head scratcher @creece

There's no app ID on these custom field types either
d
So, its an Account Customization type project, right?
c
this is an app store app
i'm gonna manually create them and see if it deploys.. doesn't change my issue as deploying when the fields don't exist blows up but maybe itll get me further
SDF deployed fine when I manually created the fields and added the app ID. This has to be a bug in SDF or NetSuite
d
Are there any other features dependant on the Advanced BOM feature? (or vice versa?)
c
Nope, my boss is the guy that wrote Advanced Manufacturing so he's gonna holler at that team and see what's up. Its gotta be a NetSuite bug. I don't think its SDF as it looks like its trying to set the correct values just NetSuite doesn't accept it.

Odd
c
doing the netsuite support shuffle now. Waiting for them to screenshare so I can show them exactly what I sent to them in the email prior to it 😕

Don't forget the canned list of questions about impact to production, etc. That's my favorite

I've sent them 3 emails w/ the same screenshots and process walkthrough. They keep trying to call at like 730pm-8pm at night wanting to do a zoom session.
I said I can do a zoom call but its gonna be what i just showed you in the screenshots.. the entire support system at netsuite is complete crap
Wound up being a netsuite bug and they are looking into it.

Well, message delivered ... well done @creece
