Hi, I need to deliver quite a lot of specific training to our user base. I was considering somehow recording it or creating some classes, so that it’s there for new starters etc. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of good approaches / platforms that are relatively easy to get started with? Really interested to hear everyone’s experience.

Haven't done much of this, but when I did, I used Loom, and seemed pretty feature rich for this purpose. Only word of caution I would give you is that user engagement was fairly low. It would be helpful to have some form of incentive behind the training.

Loom is nice, but if your are prepping like instructor lead training, I'd just create slides, have your NetSuite and use OBS. https://obsproject.com/ OBS Studio is a free, open-source, and cross-platform screencasting and streaming app.

Snagit will work in a pinch. It doesn't have any of that fancy stuff like auto zoom-in and highlighting, etc like you see with the more fancy apps, but sounds like you're not looking for bells and whistles. And though it's not free, I'd recommend getting it for your own use anyway. The only thing I've run into is that the recorded audio seems to be a little tinny. Which could very well be my mic/audio setup/laptop and not Snagit. I've done so little recording of audio that I've never bothered to figure it out.
