have anyone experienced this, im doing a SS and whenever the SS contains only one result, instead of showing me the SS results page, it goes directly into the transaction record

That can be adjusted in your preferences.

Yeah it's off by default, which is dumb. It's so rare you come across a list with only one value to where it would be useful, so basically all it does is confuse people.
