Are there any developers here that have hosted their website or work with companies that host their website with WPEngine? We’re looking at possibly moving our site off SCA but keeping the ERP and connecting our site and NetSuite with Celigo. I was curious what people think of WPEngine.

Hey MJ, what industry are you folks in? Also, what kind of products are sold via your website? Other customers, we support use Shopify and other bridges for eCommerce platforms.

Why not Shopify or Magento?

I use WordPress…. It is only connected to my NS instance through some forms though. Not really an integration. I think achieving a NetSuite integration is going to be challenging but not impossible. I think you are going end up with lot of custom code to get the result you really want. While I think this can work and admittedly I dont know anything about the details of what you are trying to do, I am not sold on Celigo, while a good tool in a lot of situations, being the right tool for this job. I think this is going best archived with RestLets. I could be swayed on that opinion it just my initial read. If Celigo is the tool, then I agree with the other respondents that perhaps Magneto or Shopify are a better choice. You might also want to look at https://smartconnect.eonesolutions.com/ as well as an option for custom integrations like this.

I have done integration with Shopify and Magento - all custom in NetSuite. No forms, no Celigo or Dell Boomi @Sean Murphy

@NickSuite For sure its possible. Not always desire-able. There are pros and cons to both ways and I think it’s a case by case evaluation.

Custom integration gives you more control compared to pre-built integrations.

There's so much functionality you have to build yourself if you don't leverage prebuilts... monitoring, dashboards, error handling, data delivery guarantees, not to mention configuration settings...

We have another company that has a connector for NetSuite/WooCommerce already created. For our needs it will work. I have a background in WordPress/WooCommerce, so this was the best route for us.
