12/16/2022, 6:36 PMAnyone have any idea about how strongpoint works under the hood? how they are able to get all custom fields IDs, descriptions, help, etc and also able to know when a field changed etc to automatically generate or create a documentation or log?

12/16/2022, 6:59 PMI never looked closely at the scripts because there are 100+ but it's mostly lots and lots of MRs. I would assume they're using System Notes. I seem to remember having to add an audit log to scripts for them to be recognized by Strongpoint but that may have changed.

12/16/2022, 7:03 PMThe company I was at at the time mainly bought it for the ERD, to find customizations related to fields. Overall though, I did not find the ERD to be accurate circa 2018. Very impressive what it could do, but ultimately unreliable. I know it supposedly does a lot of change management things and automated documentation which could be valuable. I couldn't say.
