Anyone know of an existing product that can mirror (part) of one NetSuite account onto another NS account? e.g. customizations and data - SDF can cover a bit but is lacking a lot of coverage. I'm thinking of a scenario where you might want to populate a NS dev account with a partial mirror of a existing sandbox/prod account?

Hi <@U02QAQB104D>, while this isn't one of our main use-cases,  we do have some customers using Salto (<http://salto.io|salto.io>) for that.

The coverage is not perfect, but it is a superset of SDF's (see <https://docs.salto.io/docs/netsuite> + there are a couple of types like Saved Reports and Financial Layouts which are coming very soon, as well as Custom Records which were recently added but currently missing in the docs).

I attended a Salto webinar recently - maybe I need to actually log in and try it out!

my takeaway was that salto leverages SDF for the most part and was generally limited to what SDF can do. If you're extending that significantly it is definitely interesting.

It is using SDF under the hood, but on top of it it is also using the a SuiteApp that we developed to add support for:
• Full support for all files in the file cabinet
• Data records support, e.g. Subsidiary, Currency, Department, Items, Account, Location, etc.
• Preferences (Settings) - UserPreferences, CompanyInformation, AccountingPreferences
