@markderrick Is this the same case for emails sent from scripts? I have an Map Reduce script running, but I am not getting the email. I have to to the employee record of the sender and look at the communications tab.

I know I'm late to this but just in case you didn't figure it out - e-mails sent via script in a sandbox/test account won't show up, because the "logged in user" is "-System-". You can get around it by changing the settings to send e-mail to your e-mail address always instead of just the logged in user.
