@Alex K to my knowledge it is not possible, but if you find that it is I would like to know as well, it's very annoying that Role assignments don't stick around if access is removed / not provided.
a
Yeah I just felt so sure that it was the case you could, but I am sure I am misremembering... Hopefully someone knows!

@al3xicon @Alex K I think this used to be the case, but they changed it within the last version or three.
Probably because they had issues with people still having access/confusion on whether they had access when one or the other was used but not both.

I have an old client that still shows 2 users as Login Access as TRUE from when they had some advanced partner action going on...employees long gone but legacy of removed module remains
k
You can make their account inactive
Don't do it to consultants, but for employees of one account, that works. They will get error indicating "login access to this role has been disabled"
If you do it to someone with more than one account, it's possible to completely lock them out of all accounts. ..
Not likely, have to have perfect storm, but I've had it happen to me before. Maybe the way it handles 2fa will keep that from happening now, but I had a client cause me to lose an entire day of work because I was inactivated to let someone else in and then went out of office as only administrator.
j
still consumes a license tho?
k
Shouldn't. As long as you do it from editing the record as opposed to the list
a
ahh that's a great workaround for implementations @KevinJ of Kansas
