For permissions by role, does the 'Edit' level allow you to close a PO?

Pretty sure. You could always create a dummy role for yourself and test to make sure.

FYI - permission levels View - only view Create - Can view, Can create Edit - view, create and edit Full - View, create, edit and delete (only if the record doesn't have any related or referenced record)

Yep, I think the specific question was about closing POs which is kind of nebulous in terms of those options.
