Anyone happen to know how I can get rid of the blank and new in this list its on the Journal entry form and the list is coming from an entity record I have an approver record in entity and go 2 the employee and select the checkbox as an approver however when I try to bring it in on the journal entry form, it keep showing the blank and new and allows anyone to create a new record I tried it on the another role as an accountant but I still was able to create new

You need to remove the permission to create a new Employee for the role, then the ‘New’ option won’t appear.

You can also define the permission inside the custom field, or Put an action that will will make the field display type disable it if the user is not an administrator or not a specific user

@markderrick I checked the role and there is no create a new employee option for that role. I tried the standard accounting role and admin role
