Have you checked if the Item has not been marked as a Special Order or Drop Ship Item? I think there is a checkbox for that in the Item record

Thanks @rustyshackles I just saw your reply. If the ITEM is checked as SPECIAL ORDER OR DROPPED SHIP ITEM, do you think that would throw this error? "Items you have requested in the record have been deleted since you retrieved the form"

No, where are you encountering this error, if it in a script it might mean that the item has been deleted after the record ha been loaded
