Re: Assemblies What would be the best way to get a value that is generated from a saved search in Item360 and write it to a field on the Assy record?

Item360?

I guess that subtab was custom made by our NS provisioner. It basically a subtab that contains a bunch of saved searchs
To generalize my question, if i have a subtab running a bunch of searches, is it possible to pull values from that search to write to a feild on the record?
r
I'm having trouble following you. I wouldn't associate a subtab with the ability to run a search. If you have a search in mind, yes, you could load a search, run it, process the results and write results to a field. The question is about your script type, UE type if any, execution context, etc.

Ill need to rethink what im trying to achieve. I looked into it and Item360 is a Netsuite thing. Its a subtab in an Assembly that contains a series of saved searchs you can run while on the Assembly Record.

Ah, I'm not familiar with Item360. You might be able to find the saved search being used by finding the process which populates that subtab. Scripted records would be a good place to start. Once you have the saved search id, your outcome should be trivial.
There is a scripted records extension and also a field explorer extension which may be helpful.
They're chrome extensions.

I will investigate further. Thanks for the suggestions once again kind dinosaur
