Does anyone have experience transacting individual items multiple times? I want to discover other avenues before pulling the trigger on OneWorld, as I believe it may be unnecessary I basically need to be able to place blanket orders that are to be stored in an overseas location, then purchased again in multiple, smaller waves to the united states

@Dylan Dickman some thoughts: 1. Use assembly items and use the old one as a component.
2. do a costing adjustment to take the place of the second purchase so that your cost reflects the new cost
but typically once you've purchased something, you own it, and you can't purchase it again
3. Check out Transfer Orders. That may be what you're wanting. You can put a new cost on those.

yeah thought about transfer orders, but i need to be able to place items in inbound shipments, which is key for our logistics dept.
thank you @James Morris

Not sure what you mean by "need to place orders in inbound shipping"
You can ship and receive into a new location with transfer orders. That's kinda the whole point vs. just a transfer.

our logistics team wants to keep the POs that are going to follow this operation in inbound shipments for uniformity
we still have a lot of POs that do not follow this model
but i agree that transfer orders would work
