I've been trying to create a list that has three options, each with their own sublist, all day. I just want both of these fields on a form. You select one of the three options from the first list, and that determines which list you can choose from for the second list. It feels pretty hopeless trying to figure this out. Tips?

perhaps this will sound dumb...
when you create the lists its a usually a data table right?

What? I'm using Customization->Lists, Records & Forms->Lists->New.

where is your block? what is the limitation?
You dont want lists you want records...
Static lists cant be worked with..Records can be filtered...essentially filter where column A is a match and show column B
I've created surveys for users on Opportunities where based on the first fields answer different options are available in field two

I converted Resource Type record, which has a list of three. Then I created a list of all Resource Skills as a master list. The idea is to filter skills based on resource type.
I'm good with creating lists. Once I turn them into records, I can't find my way back to the list to make changes. I've been clicking in circles for seven hours. 😠
nvm, this doesn't seem like the kind of problem that gets solved on slack
