I'm configuring matrix options for an SCA site but I don't want to parent matrix item to be purchasable and I want to force the shopper to select an option. Currently the add to cart button is showing for the parent as well as the child. I'm using non-inventory items if this helps

@texmc, the matrix parent item should not be purchasable if the matrix item fields and item option fields are setup correctly. The Add to Cart button will appear, but when its clicked, the item option fields will have the error message “Please specify a value for this option” displayed below the item option field.
