I'm new to Netsuite, and working on an existing SCA website that my company has. We are using a 3rd party Netsuite developing team, and I was told that in order to edit the stylesheet we had to complete a SCA Development course. Is this true, or is she trying to keep us dependent her team even for small changes?

I think there is a small wrinkle of truth there. @Olivier Gagnon (DXC) is this the case for SCA work?

@Joseph @C_Billings Yes, sort of. SCA is a highly complex product and Oracle NetSuite requires firms that do SCA work to be certified. In reality this is not truly enforceable. In practice, however, I do recommend it. In my experience, all insufficiently qualified (non SCA certified) individuals/firms that do SCA work underestimate the challenge ("it's just another web site, how hard can it be") and end up doing considerable damage to the site's performance, SEO ranking, etc.
More concretely, if you are not certified and do work, NS Support will likely refuse to provide any support if you require it
