Is it possible to enable global search for standard NetSuite field? I'm trying to search the Inventory Item MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) field from the global search bar.

Only by item name. If you want to search by MPN create custom field tick global search preference true copy value from system MPN to custom field MPN set field by before record submit workflow.
