Is it possible to import a credit memo and apply it to a payment?

Credit memo can be applied to invoice by csv import

trying to apply it to a payment, any idea how to go about it?

How would that work? A Credit Memo is a form of Payment to the Invoice...Are you sure you are wording this right?

@C_Billings When creating a customer payment in the user interface it is possible to apply it to an invoice and to credit memo. Is it possible to apply a credit memo to a payment once payment was created? maybe via a script?
