heyo, can someone point me to the field where I can turn search result defaults on and off?  eg, when i pull up a basic inventory search, I want it to default to these 10 fields, and not those 5

You mean you want to change the list of columns in the search results?

i mean i want to specify if a certain field should be defaulted as a result or not.

if in an item search "Type" is defaulted, I want to be able to turn that off.  If "Quantity" is not defaulted, I want to be able to make that a default

or i guess in an item search it would be "on hand" or "available" instead of "quantity"

I'm not sure I'm following... are you looking for something in "Personalize Item Search Form"?
