10/17/2018, 1:27 PM@S Feld I've tried to set it up through a saved search both through the record that it is nested within and through a saved search based on user notes...but, the saved search based on user notes doesn't have an option to send on update, only according to a schedule. And the one I did from within the custom record would show the user notes correctly on the saved search, but the email alerts won't send out correctly every time. And I can't base any specific field updates based on the user notes since they aren't technically a field on the record. I hope that makes sense...

10/17/2018, 1:46 PMI'm not necessarily stuck on it having to be through a user note. I am just looking for a good way to be able to make a comment on a specific record and it be able to send an email notification to the needed person, but stay tied to the record.
