<!everyone> a buddy of mine found an app to automatically refresh NetSuite dashboard portlets… anyone interested?

yeah i'm curious to know about it. That's a common request that I hear but i've never invested much time into fixing it.

At my company, we developed a custom portlet for this. It needs to be on the dashboard and open, so it takes up space, but it works well. I would be interested in your solution though.

<@U9LPTU0SG> I had considered building a portlet for it also. Does your portlet update all of the portlets on a schedule or only specified ones?

<@U9LPTU0SG> I haven't ever considered using a custom portlet to refresh the portlets before.  Could you explain a little more how that would be done?

If it's the extension 'Netsuite Portlet Refresher' then this wouldnt refresh on a period of time which is what I need, i.e. every 20mins

Ahh yes that’s the one that refreshes on page load only. The periodical refresh would also be handy!
