Impact on NetSuite for Outlook – TLS Deprecation Test Window Scheduled for April 4, 2018 This notice is to inform you that a maintenance window planned for Wednesday, April 4, 2018 will impact the NetSuite for Outlook SuiteApp. Only secure communications using TLS 1.2 will be successful during this 3-hour window. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 connections to NetSuite will not be supported. Be aware that the current version of the NetSuite for Outlook SuiteApp will not work during this 3-hour window, because it does not support TLS 1.2. All NetSuite secure communication (https://) interfaces must support TLS 1.2 as of this date. An updated version of the NetSuite for Outlook SuiteApp that supports TLS 1.2 is targeted to be released before this date. This maintenance window is in preparation for the planned deprecation of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on April 21, 2018. The planned maintenance for your account will occur on Wednesday April 4, 2018 3pm - 6pm PDT (UTC -7). Important: The time noted for the maintenance window is in PST and the local time of your account’s host data center, not your business headquarters’ local time. For tips on determining your account’s host data center, see the NetSuite Help Center article URLs for Data Center-Specific Domains, SuiteAnswers ID 65712. For more information about the upcoming TLS deprecation, see the NetSuite Help Center article FAQ: Transport Layer Security (TLS) Deprecations, SuiteAnswers ID 49076.
