I agree with @darrenhillconsulting, though I've used several strongly typed languages extensively in the past so I can see benefits of a type system. I didn't mean to stir the pot, but I'll just say I'm building significantly better solutions with TypeScript than I did for years with plain JS. Your mileage may vary.
