Is there any way to export the system notes from production to sandbox? I was unaware that these did not sync across and an internal developer is querying the system notes in one of his integrations.

System notes doesn't propagate to sandbox by design. No one but Netsuite has ability to access system notes due to security and audit integrity. That means you cannot export or import system notes (modify) in any way.

you can't MODIFY system notes in either system but you can definitely export them. there's a saved search type even. you might be able to define a saved search that will limit the scope of the system notes to just those your developer is interested in and email them on a schedule or something.

@shea is correct about the system notes search, I use them everyday for SOX and COSO control.

thanks. I'd need to export them from production and import them into the sandbox but that's not going to work.
