Currently sales tax is pulled from a table that was uploaded to Netsuite. Netsuite references the shipping address from the sales order. The sales order address references the address fields in the customer record. As a retail operation we have no need to collect customer address. I'd like to remove that field from the customer entry form and from the sales orders. We need to collect sales tax exclusively for one location.
Occasionally our customers are tax exempt from some items. So we need to be able to edit it on the row level, but that's it.
If anyone could help me with this I'd much appreciate it and be happy to pay for a couple hours of your time.
