Hi all, I have a best practice question. Our Sales reps sends sample orders to Prospects and they create SOs when they send Sample orders. Since a SO is created, NetSuite by design, converts the Prospects to Customer stage. Now, our Sales team don't want that to happen. They are asking me if there is a way we can stop this since it's not a real order (i.e. make sure they stay as Prospects in the same entity status)? So, was wondering if scripting is the only solution for this issue? Or is there a better way to handle this? Maybe for Sample orders, there is a different way to record it in NetSuite?
