@Nate For a simple answer, create multiple saved searches and add a Criteria for the Transaction Type you would to limit for in the results, and make sure Item is a result. As for "created from", an Item is never created from a transaction record. They are always generated from an Item record. Depending on your needs, you could always add a custom field to the Item form to help categorize your items allowing more flexibility in saved searches.
