I attended the NY NetSuite User Group meeting on Tuesday (10/31/17) and thought I'd report back here. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had contemplated attending one a few months back and asked here if anyone had any experience with them. I did not receive a reply/no one had heard of them. I did make time to go to this week's meeting. Their keynote speaker was from NetSuite and I enjoyed listening to someone go through Release 2017 17.2 in person. He even took questions. The NetSuite Tips & Tricks session lasted 1/2 hour but was awesome. The speaker had a lot of tricks to share, like adding an extra : in the global search to have a new window open with your result and how to search your NetSuite account from your Chrome Address Bar.
