@toltmanns I'm trying to get the availability of an item. I can't figure out the exact formula used by the 'Check Item Availabilty' page in getting the demand values.

jake: not sure myself, you could always create an item and move inventory in and out of various states. A large customer of ours struggled here as well, ended up going with a virtual location for each state - that is, a separate netsuite location for onorder, ondock, available, etc
