Thank you Jonny for sharing! This is a great start. Does it also work for communications tab of a record (e.g., Opportunity) or is it for NS Support management only?

@philipp Currently it's just case management. I have had a couple requests for other areas of integration like projects or sales/crm. I don't think that would be too difficult considering the framework is all setup. First I just wanted to test the scalability of the case bot before making others. I'd be interested in knowing what features would be useful for a sales/crm integration if you have ideas.

@jonny Most of our sales reps communicate to their client via Slack and when customers request for a quote/estimate, we want the communication to be saved automatically in the Opportunity record via Communications tab. I hope we can see this integration in the future. Please feel free to chat if you have questions.
and probably saved all slack communications in NS customer record if this is possible

@philipp Interesting, so you are inviting clients into your slack team and communicating with them in a channel or something? It is definitely possible to save communications to opportunity/quote/customer records in NetSuite, figuring out which messages to pull from Slack would be the trickier part. Would you also have a need to make updates to Opportunities/Quotes/Customer records from Slack (i.e. change status or contact info)?

Hi @jonny sorry I haven't replied back to you. Yes, we have our own slack team when communicating with clients and we want them to save directly either in the customer record > communications tab or from the associated opportunity record
