leo: @mbucklaew is absolutely right; this sounds like the item could be restricted by Location and/or Subsidiary. One other feature that's not talked about much or used that much in my experience is Item filtering. You can set an item saved search at the form level so that users on that form can only pick certain items. Customize your form, go to Screen Fields>Columns and see if there's anything selected in the Item Filter drop-down. If so, taking that off should solve your problem. If it's not one of these three problems or the items being inactive, I have no idea. Good luck!
