I had the worst proposal. I took my wife to get ice cream and we were sitting on a park bench and I started my proposal with the usual gushing and she goes "What are you going to propose to me now?".

I was committed to proposing on a specific day. Had plans to go somewhere nice, but she had a bad day watching some kids. So I went "hey we should go to this pretty place on a walk" and she shot me down. Went through like four alternate plans and wound up proposing in my apartment. In hindsight I should have just let the date pass and tried on a better day. Though it did finally improve her mood

@creece That's not the worse. I turned to my (now wife) and said "I think I'd like to marry you..." it wasn't even a proposal more a thinking out loud moment and she said "Yes!" I was stunned, wasn't even going there, but rolled with it and we've been married 24 years now 😂
