The OCR feature looks interesting, but I wonder if it would work with PO's. From the screenshots it doesn't seem so

yeah was surprised they kept the OCR feature to the last page. Tipalti might be looking over their shoulders, especially if they sort out the "approve by email" in the standard approval process

When we looked at it, approval via email (from a non-netsuite account) was an "enhancement request". It may have worked for people who had a netsuite licence

we are using the old advanced approvals workflow, which provides that feature. So it wasn't really a compelling switch for us. Buy all these licences! Yeah, no thanks

Still not clear when the OCR feature will be made available or the cost. Anyone heard anything?

@Seth Duda It's not available yet in my release preview account, though the help page is already there. From the help as well it seems like at least the initial release won't work with purchase orders. Also, it sounds like you can only upload PDF's via the UI. Hopefully they will add support for an email inbox to capture PDFs to make it a real contender in AP automation game

It won't be free, it will be paid not sure of availability and price, I saw this on new feature preview presentation

Agreed as well, it was communicated in the feature preview that this is a new module that must be purchased separately

They've removed the OCR feature from release notes now 😞
